What, and where, is the Riverside Energy Resource Center power plant?
The Riverside Energy Resource Center (RERC) is a power plant complex that will is owned by the City of Riverside to provide electricity for the Citys residents. The power plant consists of two 48 megawatt (MW) generators, RERC 1& 2, located adjacent to the Citys Water Quality Control Plant. Riverside Public Utilities is currently in the process of building two additional 48 MW generators, RERC 3 & 4, to supply additional power needs for the city.
