What ambulatory care opportunities are available for residents?
Throughout the year, residents attend a primary care clinic for a half day each week seeing patients with a variety of disease states, such as hypertension, diabetes, COPD, asthma, heart failure, renal insufficiency and others. For residents with more interest in ambulatory care, Legacy also has pharmacists in anticoagulation clinics and a transplant clinic which are available for elective rotations.
