What am I required to have in order to take the 24 Hour Basic Certification Course or the 8 Hour Re-Certification Course?
Any person wishing to take the 24 Hour Basic S.O.R.A. Certification Course must have previously registered with the Private Detective Unit of the New Jersey State Police had have obtained a 30-Day Temporary Work Certificate. Any person wishing to take the 8 Hour Re-Certification Course must have previously registered their renewal with the Private Detective Unit of the New Jersey State Police prior to the date that their current certification expires. Persons who wish to enroll in a North River Security Training Consultants course will be required to provide the following prior to the start of any NRSTC course; 1) Your 30-Day Temporary Work Certificate; 2) Two (2) forms of valid I.D. including qualifying photo identification; 3) A completed Course Registration Form; and 4) Payment in full of all tuition fees.
