What alternative, natural preservative system does The Little Alchemist use to preserve products?

0

The most significant chemical additives that The Little Alchemist avoids at all costs are: Parabens; Formaldehyde; Sodium Laural Sulfates; PEG; Propylene Glycol; Phenoxyethanol; Synthetic Fragrances; Synthetic Colours and Mineral Oils. The Little Alchemist formulates with a natural preservative system called Naticide which can be listed as either “fragrance, parfum or vanilla & almond extracts” in order to provide a full spectrum of protection from bacteria and microbes. It is a vegetable based preservative with a vanilla & almond aroma. Very few companies use alternatives because they are more expensive and more difficult to find. However, there are many natural preservative systems that can be utilized like Naticide which is an extremely effective, but completely natural preservative. We use it to keep our products fresh and pure without the use of cheap and nasty Parabens and other chemical preservatives.
