Preacher allowed back on Indiana State campus When Indiana State University students return to classes this fall, they may find 27-year-old Larry M. Faulkner preaching on campus again. In 2003, ISU banned Faulkner from coming onto ISU property after an incident in which he allegedly “harassed and battered” a student in connection with his student preaching. Now, ISU has lifted that no-trespass order, according to a letter written by Melony Sacopulos, ISU general counsel. Faulkner had asked that his status as “persona non grata” on the ISU campus be reconsidered. “Because you have not been involved in any incidents since that time, your request for readmission to the ISU campus is granted, subject to continued compliance with all campus regulations,” Sacopulos’ July 8 letter stated. “Any actions by you that are harassing or violent will not be tolerated.
