What ages is the playground geared towards?
The committee has worked hard to serve a wide range of ages in the new playspace. The plans are still in draft form. The playground has three main areas and will be unified by a nautical theme. These include: 1) Two sand & water play structures 2) Play area for ages 2-5: With a ship theme, it will include lower level slides, a walkway and bridge, a play table and two storefronts. 3) Play area for ages 5-12: With a lighthouse theme, the big kid area will have several climbing areas, a roller slide, a higher spiral slide, bridges, and monkey bars in addition to other elements.
