What age should babies start to walk and talk?

its different with every child, my 1st son didnt walk until he was 17 months old, the 2nd son was up and about by the time he was a year, again talking is very varied, my 4th son didnt start speaking until he was 18 months old, the other 3 brothers all spoke for him and he ended up having speech therapy, so in short….it varies hugely from child to child.

boys walk before girls on average – before 12 months or just about – they talk later – after 2 girls almost opposite – 12 months and later for walking and talking around 12 months – but just and an odd word here and there.
