What age patient does FOCUS treat?
Dr. Wiley will see patients through age forty. There is a genetic link to AD/HD and often parents suspect they also have the disorder. Treating the parent can be very helpful in treating the child. Adult patients may need clearance from their physician before starting medication, depending on their health history. Generally stimulants are not given to children before school age but Dr. Wiley does see younger children with behavioral problems on a case by case basis.
