What age groups should be vaccinated?
The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommendations for use of the trivalent seasonal influenza vaccine have expanded to include all children and adults beginning in the 2010-11 influenza season. As a result of this new advisory, annual influenza vaccination has virtually become a universal recommendation for all Americans above the age of 6 months of age.
