What age does a standard poodle began to loose his baby teeth?
Answer Hello Fay, It is different for each dog, but they usually start to loose their baby teeth around 4-6 months of age. The only thing to watch out for is if the adult teeth start to come in on top of the baby teeth. If this occurs, you will have to have the Vet pull the baby teeth to allow the adult teeth to come on in. Other than that, the baby teeth will just fall out naturally. You can give hard biscuits or treats that will help the baby teeth come out. I hope this helps you some. If you have other questions, please feel free to ask.
