What age can a rabbit get pregnant?
Most rabbits are not interested in breeding until age 6 months but they can breed as early as 12weeks. This is not a good idea because a doe that young will most likely die during kindling(giving birth) as her bones and overall system is not mature enough to handle it. Even if she is too young to breed and the buck is older he will begin to harass her and try to breed her. An accidental breeding can occur before you can stop it from happening if they are together. It only takes seconds for rabbit to breed. If you are not planning on kits(babies) then I suggest keep them apart ALL the time or get the buck neutered.
