By lowering the Memory & Cache preference for RAM Cache you can free up memory for Nucleo Pro. After Effects uses the RAM Cache for both storing frames from your RAM Preview and for generating frames in an After Effects render. The RAM Cache isn’t used when Nucleo Pro is used for the render process. If you do not need to have large RAM Previews you can lower that preference setting, restart After Effects an check the Resource Settings to see if Nucleo’s processes were able to get more memory.
