Affiliate organizations that have an exclusive arrangement with LabCorp as part of a “benefits plan” package, are not included. Specifically, Dominion’s new provider status does not supersede the UnitedHealthCare – LabCorp contract with regard to Mid Atlantic Medical Services, LLC (MAMSI). This does not include all MAMSI subsidiaries, however. Effective May 1, 2008, patients covered under United Affiliate organizations M.D. Individual Practice Associate, Inc. (MD IPA) and Optimum Choice, Inc. can be sent to Dominion.
