What affect will the County Furlough Plan have on security at the jail?
Staffing at the jail will be maintained at a level designed to ensure security and safety for inmates, staff and the community at all times. The minimum staffing plan, as outlined in Department Policies and Procedures and in the Prince George’s Correctional Officers Association (PGCOA) contract, will continue to be followed assuring that security will not be adversely affected.
