What affect do the TweeQers have when they are clipped on the tuning slide?
A. TweeQers on the tuning slide make a considerable difference on my trumpet. When I am demonstrated TweeQers to anyone, I usually take only the ones on the tuning slide off and play the first bar or so of Pictures. Then clip them back on and watch their eyes light up with unbelief. The TweeQers create a more compact or dense core sound which results in a better balance of core sound and overtone brilliance or “brightness”.
