What advocacy work does Park Pride do?
Park Pride works as a political advocate to maintain and increase parks and greenspace through initiatives such as the BeltLine project and encourages municipal and county governments, such as the City of Atlanta and the Fulton County Commission, to improve parks and increase greenspace acreage. Advocating for the preservation of greenspace, Park Pride led a successful campaign to reverse the Fulton County Commission’s vote to sell six Sandy Springs parks.
