In addition to the GPP and Medical School MD/PhD program advisors, NIH intramural partnership students will be assigned to a designated NIH faculty member MD/PhD advisor for the length of their training. These advisors are all experienced physician-scientists who serve on the steering committee of NIH intramural MD/PhD partnership program. Students submit an individualized training plan in the first year of their training and annual progress reports which are shared with their medical school, graduate school and MD/PhD advisors.
