This was selected as Best Answer Hi Kelly, Depending on the nature/category of the small business and the immediate business requirements, I’d say two things should be done–(a) Budgetting– to enable a portion of ad budget to be used for maintaining awareness threshold levels and (b) concentrate in ‘satisfying’ current high value customers in order to increase business volume from them. Concentrating on your current high value customers through quality service deliverables and ‘wowing’ them would be a far effective, cheaper and beneficial route than trying to aquire new customers. The maintenance budget spent on brand awareness would act as the flag in attracting potential new customers.
