In case you didn’t see the show, there’s a video of the big announcement available on TLC’s website. I find it interesting that their plan now is to embark on a type of joint custody that is sometimes referred to as “birds’ nest” custody–with the children staying in the main family home, and the parents rotating in and out. Given the size of their family, I think that probably makes sense. I’m a little bit surprised, though, that they’ve decided to continue the show.
