What advantages does the Prinergy workflow provide for our clients?
By streamlining the pre-press workflow the transition from supplied digital file to final print is a much easier and faster process. Many of the common “supplied file faults” can be recognised and appropriately dealt with (some without operator intervention) early in the process. A major advantage of this system also is to do with the new laws regarding font licensing (see main article). While supplying fonts on disk with your job will soon become illegal, embedding fonts in a PDF does not contravene this law. With the Prinergy PDF-based system in place we are able to successfully use and output separated film or plates for printing from supplied PDF files.
