What advantages does a Domino ASP offering have over other service suppliers?
Domino is a very good technology for an ASP due to the application provisioning that we can offer. For example, by leveraging Domino templates (NTFs) and security models, we are able to offer a single application securely to Customer A and Customer B on the same shared infrastructure. With Domino, you can even run many different applications with many different customers securely on the same infrastructure. Additionally, by using LHMS with Domino Rnext, we can help the ASP create and provision services for each customer as they self-register. Domino Off-Line Services (DOLS) provides Domino solutions to a user who is connected over the network or to a user who is offline. Both users are able to access their files, such as mail files, and are also able to access applications with a browser, either on the network, or locally.
