What advantage is there to obtaining and using the E-Beam software outside of the courtroom?
Although you can not annotate over images presented from your personal laptop, there is still an advantage to downloading and using the E-Beam software outside of the courtroom. Doing so will allow you to experiment with the software and become better acquainted with the features and control buttons. Additionally, you can actually import your documents (for supported file formats) into the E-Beam software in advance. This would allow you to ensure that the import process was successful and make adjustments as necessary. Once you have finalized your imported document, you can save your E-Beam document to bring to court.
