What Advances in Medical Education Would Most Affect Health Care Delivery in the Future?
Forty percent of health IT professionals said that advances in medical education surrounding IT adoption would have the most impact on health care delivery in the future, according to a new Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society survey. Thirty-six percent of survey respondents said medical education developments related to clinical outcomes would have the greatest impact on health care delivery. Nineteen percent of respondents said advances in education surrounding quality measures would have the most impact. Results are based on an October survey of 491 health care IT professionals.
