Many types of adhesives will produce a strong structural bond to many plastics (i.e. Ultramid, Ultradur, Ultraform, Petra, and Ultrason). Some of these include polyurethanes, epoxies, cyanoacrylates, and methacrylates. Application conditions (high temperature, impact resistance, moisture, nylon copolmers, etc.) will dictate which adhesive should be sampled. A list of adhesives that produce a strong bond can be found in our Design Solutions Guide on this web site. We also strongly recommend talking to the adhesive suppliers such as Loctite, 3M and others.
