What additional problems will the global population be facing because of air pollution.?
Well, the populations living in the polluted areas will be most affected of course. However, if the population is located in a third world country they are most likely to suffer more because of lack of pollution regulation/laws and lack of healthcare/medicine to treat ailments such as asthma & shortness of breath. So I would say very poor groups of people will be affected the most. Even in well off places, you’ll still have a problem even though access to medical care is better and environmental laws are being enforced. Los Angeles has a major smog problem in summer because the mountains nearby prevent the air from moving away from the city. In New York City where I live, the natural wind current blows air away from the city itself but we still have air pollution problems… so air pollution is not an easy problem to solve and affect densely populated regions all over.
