What actually happened to cause my uncles car crash last year?

I also felt that bad (but not terrible) driving was the cause. Although the above covers what caused it, on the surface it looks difficult to see how it happened from the outside, so I feel there was a slight self-destructive tendency involved too. My father died on April 4. We used to be very close but for some reason he had not spoken to me for over nine years.
