If you return the Consent Form, which asks us to represent you, we will do so on a contingency basis and front all litigation expenses. This means that we only recover our fees and costs if we win the case or reach a settlement with the other side. We recover our fees on a percentage basis (a percentage of the recovery) or on the basis of what the court approves. You will not owe us attorneys’ fees or our costs if we are unsuccessful in the case. If you return the consent form, we will send you a copy of the attorney contract for you to sign and return to us. It explains the terms of our representation. If you choose to have a different attorney represent you, only that attorney can tell you what financial costs or risks are associated with you filing or joining an FLSA case.
