What activities require the review and approval of an Erosion and Sediment Control Plan and issuance of a Land Disturbance Permit?
Anywhere in the county or two towns – land disturbance over 10,000 square feet, for the following, requires a Land Disturbance Permit: – commercial development – farm and access road – industrial development – lot clearing, fill dirt operations, or borrow sites – residential street construction Any land disturbance over one acre requires the issuance of a state VSMP permit.
