What activities does the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation support?
The grants that established the Center for Conservation Incentives have enabled Environmental Defense to expand greatly our work on voluntary incentive policies and programs. As well as increasing the size and capacity of our own staff, the grants are enabling us to create partnerships with other organizations with similar goals. Our goal is for the center to be a resource for farmers, ranchers, other landowners, environmental groups, federal and state agencies and others working to conserve our natural resources and biodiversity on private lands.
