What activities does Millennium Park offer?
Many types of activities are available, from active to passive, for groups or individuals. The Park offers a swimming beach that can accommodate thousands of people. It includes a beach house with changing area, picnic facilities for families and groups, play areas and restroom facilities. A trail system starts from the parking area and winds its way through the emerging wetland environment that was created from the mined-out land. Canoes, kayaks, peddle boats and rowboats will be available for rent once the new boating facility is constructed.
