What activities do the children have each day outside of their regular classroom?
Students have gym and music 2-3 times a week, go to the media center (library) weekly and to the computer lab. These activities are all with different teachers. In their own classroom they may also move around different ‘centers’ in small groups doing different activities. Each grade eats lunch together in the cafeteria, and usually goes to recess immediately after this. There are field trips organized at least once per year, often to the Owens Science Center.
