What activities can I count when documenting the 2000 hours of practice as an RNFA?
A. You must document at least 1400 hours of intraoperative care. This does not include time spent circulating or scrubbing (since the RNFA does not concurrently function as a scrub nurse). The remaining 600 hours may be pre- and postoperative care (functions that differ from those of the surgical nurse.) Document your practice hours online.
