What activities are good examples of medically elated work experience?
Your problem will be that it is getting increasingly difficult to find such work, unless you have a contact. You need to show to medical schools that you have experience in a medical/pseudo medical setting. So, hospice, old people’s home are fine. It is also a good idea to have evidence that you are a sociable “people person”. Even playing in a sports team (and I detest sport) is good because it shows that you can relate to others and co-operate in a team situation. Other examples from my past students have included Sikhs who served food/drink to elderly people at their Temple, or Jews who took young children off to Summer camps (etc etc). Can you show the medical schools that you can relate to, and work with, other people? But also, find out about BMAT & UKCAT exams!
