What actions will Kehler Properties take if a tenant fails to pay the rent, or breaks any other terms of lease agreement?
We are understanding, to a point, when unfortunate situations occur in the lives of our residents, and are willing to work with them. We are not generally quick to resort to eviction proceedings unless the situation appears hopeless or the tenant displays disregard for the terms of the Lease Agreement. Kehler Properties follows standard legal eviction, judgment, and execution procedures. We will seek legal and monetary remedies to the fullest extent of Pennsylvania law, and of our Lease Agreement, if a tenant becomes severely delinquent with rent payments, acquires a pet without written authorization, or defaults on any other condition agreed upon in the Lease. Our goal, however, is to consistently maintain a cordial, respectful, and mutually cooperative relationship with our residents, so they continue to happily rent from us for years.
