What ACOG scopes are MILSPEC / Military Models?
It’s a common misconception that only “certain ACOG scopes” are MILSPEC / Military Models. There is no design or toughness difference between a TA31A (a normal ACOG) and TA31RCO-M150 (a US Army specific ACOG). These scopes are all made with the same parts, same engineering, same design, and same toughness standards. Trijicon makes all of the ACOG scopes MILSPEC tough because they want to sell ALL of the ACOG scopes to the military. The models that the US Military purchases a lot of are: TA01NSN (US Army), TA31F (US Army), TA31RCO-M4 (US Marine Corps), TA31RCO-A4 (US Marine Corps), TA31RCO-M150 (US Army).
