What Accounting Code Classification Structure (ACCS) values will Commerce Purchase Card (CPCS) users need to know?
Cardholders will be expected to use the Order Log Screen in CPCS to assign the following ACCS values to each item purchased with their Bankcard: • Project/Task: Formerly known as Cost Centers, Project codes are used to assign and track costs. Task codes can be used by Project owning Organizations to break out a Project by the specific task being performed (e.g. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable). Projects codes are alphanumeric and contain seven digits. Task codes are numeric-only and contain three digits. • Organization: Organization codes are used to identify the specific Organization making a charge.
