What according to the Vedic tradition is the purpose of Creation?
Ans: This question can be answered at different levels to satisfy the kind of intellect raising the question. Actually speaking, one can state the purpose or know the purpose of only those things, which are created by one self. To know about things and events prior to our birth we generally seek answers from elders, our parents, from books written by authors who existed before these events took place. When it comes to the origin of the Creation or to its purpose we will have to know its purpose from the one who existed even before the Creation. Such a one is the Lord. The only source through which we can know about the lord and his Creation are the scriptures whose author is said to be the Lord Himself.
