What accessibility features are available in WebCT Vista?
In accordance with the US Rehabilitation Act, Section 508, accessibility enhancements, which improve the use of WebCT Vista with assistive technologies, have been implemented. Accessibility enhancements include the following features: • ALT tags on all graphic elements • consistent use of form labels • collapsible menus • keyboard access to all utilities • content available in a high contrast color scheme • content is only presented in text and graphics • content readable without style sheets • data tables that are optimized for use with screen readers • consistent use of form labels • support for popular screen readers For further information on how WebCT is complying with Section 508 visit WebCT Accessibility webpages.
