Tutoring on the Central Campus is available to all MCCC students in the Learning Assistance Lab (LAL) located on the third floor of the Learning Resources Center in College Hall. Tutoring in math, English, and a variety of content area subjects is provided on a drop-in basis. Regular tutoring appointments for students with disabilities depend on available resources. On the West Campus, the LAL is in room 159 inside the Library. Students with learning disabilities and attention deficit disorder may arrange to meet with Joan Azarva, Learning Specialist, in the Counseling Center on the Central Campus, (215) 641-6575. Students can develop their study and organizational skills, and note taking, test taking, memory and time management strategies. Content tutoring for certain subjects is done at the Learning Strategist’s discretion.
