Students should possess a strong background in their area of choice. It is important that students consult with their advisor in order to determine their most appropriate plan of study. For students pursuing careers in a fields demanding work experience, they should have extensive related field experience, as this program does not require an internship. Most students in this program work with people in physical activity, sport, or health settings. Students generally should pursue and possess strong interpersonal skills. What are the academic requirements, such as grade point average or minimums to take fieldwork? Students should meet with an ESHE advisor early and often to determine their most appropriate course of study in the Exercise and Sport Studies program.
