WHAT ABU GHRAIB COVER-UP?
Here we go again…more Abu Ghraib. I wonder if The Poodle will work Abu Ghraib into his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention this summer? (Of course he will.) At any rate, a group called Human Rights Watch is accusing the Bush Administration of circumventing the Geneva Convention and covering up the abuse at Abu Ghraib prison. If there is any single subject that has been beaten to death, it is this one. The media will never let it go away. In its 38-page report (I wonder if it had large print with pictures,) this group alleges that the Bush administration covered up torture at Abu Ghraib. This is actually factually false, and these anti-American leftists know it. The media knows it too, but is gleefully reporting Human Rights Watch press release as news. If there was a cover-up at Abu Ghraib, then why was an investigation announced way back in January? Why was an investigation launched as soon as a member of the military reported the abuse?
