What about making the asf/wmv videoclip zoomable?
Well, I generally suggest viewers at screen resolutions higher than 800×640 to zoom-in up to 50%. First, a thing to keep in mind is that you want to accomodate all resolutions, so all you really need to do is guaranteed the video quality at the lowest possible resolution of 640×480. It’s mathematically accurate to say that the viewing size + 60% zoom at 1024×768 screen resolution is the same as the viewing size at 640×480: 1024×768 = 640×480 + (60% of 640×480), which means that a viewer at 1024×768 who zooms in the video to about 160% should see the same pixel quality as a viewer at 640×480 100%. So if the quality is acceptable at the lowest screen resolution, then it will also be at higher resolutions even with some zooming-in.
