What A level subjects are highly regarded?

I do know that universities are not keen on certain courses like media studies, general studies, and film. Unless you’re wanting to go into that field, then I would avoid these. Apart from that, it doesn’t really matter. What really matters is the grade you get… most universities base their entry levels on the amount of points you get. For example, an A at A-Level is 120 points whereas a D is only 60. I know it sounds scary, but I would recommend looking at some degree level courses that you might be interested in and see if you will need any particular subjects. If you’re not sure on what you might want to do, I’d stick to more “academic” subjects such as the sciences, English, maths and history.
