But didn’t you have to hug the Zoe Cylon at one point? I did. There was this specially-made papier-mâché upper body of a Cylon for that scene, and it was so cool. I was giddy inside, I won’t lie. I was like, “I’m hugging a Cylon right now. This is awesome!” Lacy’s really becoming important in this series. I know that Lacy was a really rough idea at the beginning. Her character, I mean. It’s been so great – as an actor – to carve out who and what she is with the writers. We were always asking, “How does Lacy Rand fit into this story?” They were honest very early on with me, and suggested we do it together. She started off relatively insignificant, wouldn’t you say? What I liked most about the pilot was that Lacy was almost the thru-line, the glue. If you looked at Story A, Story B and Story C, the only reason anyone knew about anything was because they had to go through this poor girl who was completely being used and manipulated.
