The RFEI included an opportunity for stakeholders to be a part of the process of identifying an RTO. As part of the RFEI process, responding organizations had to include letters of support. This key component was included to ensure proposed RTOs demonstrated support from a wide variety of tourism stakeholders operating throughout the region. What did you consider in your assessment of the Expressions of Interest? Expressions of Interest were reviewed against set criteria to assess: • organizational readiness; • regional support; and • capacity to successfully deliver on the RTO’s expected roles and responsibilities. Each region submitted one proposal for an RTO. Each submission demonstrated varying levels of organizational readiness, but all submissions demonstrated a high level of regional support.
