Were there any jews/half jews involved with the Nazi Party?
There were a few. By the Nuremberg Laws of 1935 which defined who was a Jew, the Nazi government of Germany created categories of “mischlinge” (literally “mongrels”), who were part-Jewish according to Nazi criteria. If you were a mischling but could meet the Aryan-appearance criteria, and wanted to, you could apply for “aryanization” papers, which declared you officially Aryan. Therefore at least a few people who were halachically Jewish ended up in the Nazi war machine. NOPE…. In fact I have a marriage license of my cousin who lives in Germany. She was married during the time of HITLER and during that time when you applied for license to marry they traced your family tree to make sure there was no Jewish blood in the family. IF there was you were arrested and that was it. The marriage certificate I have has over 100 pages and it traces both sides of the family (bride and groom) back to the early 1400’s!
