Were there any films, books, cartoons or comics that influenced Hybrid Heaven?
Daikai: There’s no specific movie or anything that influenced this game, although parts of it may have been influenced by certain Hollywood action movies, such as Blade Runner. But basically, it’s all what I’ve seen from my childhood to now that’s led to Hybrid Heaven becoming what it is. Q: Seeing as the game has such a strong storyline, do you think that it could conceivably run into a sequel? Daikai: I don’t know. I’d love to, but I really can’t say at this stage. We’ll have to see how Hybrid Heaven does, I guess. Q: And finally, could you tell us if Diaz or Slader is the good guy, because we can’t quite figure it out… Daikai: Well, I can give you a hint by saying that Diaz is a fake and that Slader is real.
