Were there any brass instruments in the medieval era?

I imagine instruments that qualify as being in the Brass family are prehistoric. They are mentioned in the bible and we have Roman examples. I have a Coronett reproduction hanging on the wall. It has a trumpet like mouthpiece and holes like a clarinet. The Serpent also dates back to medieval times as does the natural trumpet. So, in short, YES!
