Were the Power Coins and Morphers always stored and summoned together?
Whenever the Morphers were pulled out (or stolen), they were shown holding the Power Coins: no Morpher (except on a Ranger’s belt) was ever shown lacking a Power Coin [1]. The Power Coins, however, were sometimes pulled out (or stolen) without a Morpher: • Evil Tommy received a Power Coin without a Morpher; he was morphed with a green mist and subsequently had what appeared to be a gold Morpher on his belt [2]. He later held just his coin to abuse Bulk and Skull and teleport Jason [3]. • On the Island of Illusion, the teens reached behind their backs and discovered their “Power Coins” were missing [4]. After they’d conquered their respective illusions, they pulled out their coins (sans Morphers) from behind their backs; not long afterward, they pulled out their Morphers (apparently complete with coins) to morph [5]. • While the teens lacked their own Power Coins, Jason removed the green Power Coin from his pocket [6]; it may be noted that he had previously been given Tommy’s coin alone
