Were the American Idol finale results a shocker?
Hello, and welcome to American Idol, The Finale! We are finally at the end of the line—tonight someone will become the next American Idol. Will it be rocker Adam? Boy next door Kris? Let’s find out shall we? Ryan lets us know over ONE HUNDRED MILLION votes were cast last night. After some filler, the top thirteen comes out to perform. Everyone is in white for some reason. It is a good performance and it is nice to see everyone together again. DAVID COOK David Cook, last year’s winner, comes back to sing. Before I get into his performance, I just want to say how sorry I am for the loss of his brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. The performance, is, as usual, absolutely phenomenal. He says that the song can be downloaded on itunes and proceeds will benefit cancer research. When Kris Allen was announced as the winner of “American Idol” season 8, many people were shocked. He was definitely the underdog by a long shot as many people thought that Adam Lambert had the guaranteed win. Even Simon Cowell had Adam Lambert down as his favorite, and season winner.
